Status Ailments

Status Ailments are inflicted by specific Moves, and can affect a PKMN’s health, stats and abilities during battle. A list of Status Ailments and their effects are listed below.

Status Ailment Effect Stat Changes
☠Poisoned The PKMN takes 2 damage per turn. Lasts 7 turns.  –
?Badly Poisoned The PKMN takes 1 damage per turn, steadily increasing to 3 damage per turn. Lasts 7 turns.  –
⚡Paralyzed The PKMN has a 33% chance to fail Retreating or Hiding. Lasts 7 turns. Speed -3
?Asleep The PKMN heals 1 damage per turn, and is unable to use Moves until it awakens. Lasts 1-3 turns or until attacked.
?Burned The PKMN takes 1 damage per turn. Lasts 7 turns. M. Atk -2, R. Atk -1
❄Frozen The PKMN is unable to use Moves until it thaws. Received attacks have halved Power. Lasts 1-3 turns.
?Confused The PKMN has a 30% chance to deal 4 damage to itself instead of using a Move. Lasts 1-4 turns.  –
⚠Flinching The PKMN is unable to Engage, Retreat or Hide for 1 turn, but can still use Moves. Opponents have a 100% chance to Engage or Retreat.  –
